Urgent
Turkish Data Annotation Specialist
The large language models people use every day handle Turkish noticeably worse than English. Ask one to write formal Turkish and the suffixes drift and it reads like a translation. That gap exists because the training data does not exist in sufficient quality. This programme builds it. Fully remote, flexible hours.
What you will do
- Annotate Turkish text, speech and multimodal data to detailed guidelines
- Transcribe and verify Turkish audio, including regional accents and code-switching
- Evaluate model outputs for grammar, morphological accuracy, register and cultural appropriateness
- Write and correct reference responses in Turkish where required
- Flag ambiguity rather than guessing and keep agreement above threshold
What you bring
- Turkish at C2, native or native-level, with suffix and vowel harmony and correct punctuation
- English at B1 or above, enough to work from English guidelines
- Real care for linguistic precision, reliable internet and a computer
- The discipline to be as careful on item nine hundred as on item nine
Nice to have
- A degree in linguistics, Turkish literature, translation, law or education
- Prior annotation, transcription, translation or editorial experience
- A second language at C1, particularly Arabic, German, Russian or Kurmanji
What we offer
- Fully remote and genuinely flexible
- An hourly rate that rises with quality tier and paid guideline training
- Work at the front edge of Turkish-language AI
- A record of promoting high performers into reviewer and coordinator roles
