IT Project Manager, Public Sector Programmes
From our Ankara base you manage technology delivery programmes for public sector and government-adjacent clients. Public sector delivery in Türkiye has its own rhythm: procurement is formal, documentation is heavy, stakeholder groups are wide and tolerance for surprises is low. This role rewards people who know it.
What you will do
- Own delivery end to end including scope, schedule, budget, risk and quality
- Manage the formal documentation and reporting public engagements require, to inspection standard
- Manage stakeholder groups spanning technical teams, decision-makers and end users
- Run steering committee reporting
- Maintain compliance with data residency, security and accessibility requirements
What you bring
- At least five years managing technology projects, two with public or institutional clients
- Knowledge of Turkish public procurement practice and its documentation
- Turkish at C2 including formal correspondence and English at B2
- The composure to give unwelcome status news to a senior stakeholder
Nice to have
- PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent certification
- Experience with e-government platforms or institutional integration
- A technical background in software or infrastructure
